Join us for a special weekend away at the shore to draw closer to God and to one another. There really is no better way for the new incoming freshmen to jump into Senior High with both feet!
The final date to sign up is September 14! Please don't wait until the last minute, since we need to secure enough transportation.
When: September 26-28. Meet at the CEFC parking lot on September 26 at 4:15 PM, and we'll plan on leaving at 4:30. We should return at approximately 3:00 PM on Sunday afternoon. Parents, if the arrival time is vastly different, kids will check in by phone on the way home.
Where: Cape Henlopen State Park, Delaware.
Cost: $90 per student. Checks should be made out to CEFC with Henlopen Retreat marked on the memo line, and given to Matt Carter no later than September 14. Several scholarships are available. Please do not let the cost be a reason to stay home! Let Matt know if you are in need of a scholarship.
Late van: We typically provide a late van for those who have after school commitments. Indicate on your permission slip that you'll need to go late, and the earliest time you can be at CEFC to leave. We'll base the departure time on the last person available, and will let you know when that will be. Late van is first come, first served... we can provide one vehicle for latecomers, and if it fills up, others will need to provide their own transportation.
Permission slips: Should be signed by parents and returned to Matt Carter (or Andi Colmery) by September 14.
What to bring: Bible, notebook, pen, sleeping bag, pillow, $10 for lunch on return trip, several pairs of shorts and tee shirts, a long-sleeve T or sweatshirt, windbreaker, sneakers, sandals, sunscreen, bug repellant, hat, swim suit, towel, toiletries. Bathing suits must be modest for men and women. See details on permission slip.
Please sign up using the form below, and be sure to have your parents sign and turn in this permission slip to Matt Carter by September 14.
