New to CEFC?
Welcome! We are glad you're here, and look forward to getting to know you. We know that it can be difficult to walk into the doors of a church for the first time. Several events at CEFC are geared to help you fit in quickly and easily.
Sunday Morning Worship is when we gather to worship Jesus Christ together. Our services begin at 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM, and we hope you'll join us. Dress as casual as you like, because the focus isn't on us -- it's on our Lord. Stick around for coffee and conversation, we love meeting new people!
Our Children's Ministry exists to come alongside parents in teaching your children to know and love God. We have nursery for all ages of infants and toddlers during each service, and Sunday School for age 2 through 6th grade begins at 9:00 AM. Children's Church is also available during the second service for children in grades K - 3.
Youth Ministry serves those grades 7-12, with classes for Junior and Senior High. Sunday School begins at 9:00 AM with times of fellowship, worship, and teaching.
Adult Sunday School, offered on Sunday mornings during each worship hour, is the first step in getting to know new people. Here we give you the opportunity to meet other believers in a low-key, relaxed setting, spending an extended period of time in fellowship before the teaching begins.
Once a month we hold Welcome Lunches after our services, providing a great meal and a chance to briefly learn a bit more what CEFC is all about. These low-intensity, informal gatherings are hosted by our small groups and are a great first step for those interested in our church.
Sunday Evening Prayer Meeting is one of the best ways to get to know others. Praying together in small and large groups allows you to interact with others on a more intimate level.
The people of CEFC who will become your closest friends will be those you meet in a small group. These are offered on various nights in a variety of formats, mostly in homes. A brochure is available at the Welcome Desk in the foyer.
Newcomers' Class, offered twice a year, explains our church's history, distinctives and vision. While it is a prerequisite for formally joining the church, many folks take it just to get to know us a little better before deciding if this is the church for them.
